39415 E14 Electric Loco.

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class E 41 standard design electric locomotive. Steel blue basic paint scheme. Version with 3 simple lamps, Schweiger ventilation grills with vertical fins, and continuous rain gutter. Road number E 41 012. The locomotive looks as it did around 1958.
 
Model: The locomotive has the new mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel, centrally mounted. 4 axles powered by means of cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at Locomotive Ends 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. When the headlights are off at both ends, the double "A" lights are on at both ends. The cabs have lighting and it can be controlled separately at both ends in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons. The cabs have interior details. Engineer's Cab 1 has a figure of an engineer. The roof walks are separately applied. The locomotive has detailed buffer beams. Brake hoses and coupler hoses that can be attached to the locomotive are included. Length over the buffers 18.0 cm / 7-1/8".

46084 Tank Car Set

Prototype: 6 two-axle old-timer tank cars with a brakeman's cab, used as privately owned cars on different railroads. 1 tank car painted and lettered for Süddeutschen Asphalt-Dachpappen- und Teerprodukten-Fabrik / South German Asphalt Roofing Paper and Tar Products Company, Frankfurt/Main, Germany. 1 tank car painted and lettered for Kaiserlich Deutschen Marine / Imperial German Marine. 1 tank car painted and lettered for the firm Hermann Doht, Berlin, Germany. 1 tank car painted and lettered for Imperial Continental Gas Association, Berlin, Germany. All 4 tank cars used on the Royal Prussian Railroad Administration (KPEV). 1 tank car painted and lettered for Deutschen Erdöl-Aktiengesellschaft / German Petroleum Oil Company, Berlin, Germany, used on the Royal Saxon State Railways (K.Sächs.Sts.E.B.). 1 tank car painted and lettered for Oelwerke Noury & van der Lande Tankanlagen / Oelwerke Noury & van der Lande Tank Storage, Mannheim, Germany, used on the Grand Ducal Baden State Railways (Bad.Sts.B). All of the cars look as they did around 1912.

Model: All of the cars have a brakeman's cab and numerous separately applied details. All of the cars have different car numbers and are individually packaged. There is also a master carton. Total length over the buffers 63.4 cm / 24-7/8". DC wheel set per car 2 x 32376004.

26671 and matching passenger cars





Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) express train for the route Frankfurt (M) Airport - Stuttgart in a special paint scheme for Deutsche Lufthansa. Class 111 electric locomotive with three type Avmz 206 Eurofima design compartment cars. The train looks as it did in the summer of 1990.
 
Model: The class 111 electric locomotive has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high-efficiency propulsion. Two axles powered. Traction tires. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at Locomotive End 2 and 1 can be turned off separately. When the headlights at both ends of the locomotive are turned off, the double "A" light is on at both ends. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally. Warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The pantographs have a mechanism to raise and lower them individually that can be controlled digitally. The locomotive also has a current-conducting coupler. The type Avmz 206 Eurofima compartment cars have underbodies specific to their design. They also have type Y 0270 S Fiat trucks with side motion shock absorbers. The train has factory-installed LED interior lighting that can be controlled digitally from the locomotive. The cars have operating current-conducting couplers. The 73409 marker lights can be installed on the cars. One car has built-in marker lights. Total length over the buffers approximately 104 cm / 40-15/16".

Model: The high-side gondola has a load of scale-sized coal. The poultry car has a slatted car body with an open view through it. Some of the boxcars have sliding doors that can be opened. All of the cars have different car numbers and are each individually packaged. The cars also have a master package. Total length over the buffers approximately 84.5 cm / 33-1/4". 36795 - 223 Diesel Loco



Prototype: Class 223 general-purpose diesel electric locomotive as ER 20-013 painted and lettered for Mitsui Rail Capital Europe B.V (MRCE).

Model: The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has a special motor. 4 axles powered by means of cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Length over the buffers 21.7 cm / 8-1/2".

37423 - Dutch Electric Rail Car - 'Koploper"






Prototype
: Dutch State Railways (NS) four-part electric rail car train. Class ELD4, "Koploper" as Intercity powered rail car train ICM-4, road number 4237. 1 motor car as a type mBDk end car, 2nd class, 1 type mB intermediate car, 2nd class, 1 type A intermediate car, 1st class, 1 type sBFk end car, 2nd class.

Model: The train has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It comes in a four-part version. The powered end car has a die-cast frame. The train has controlled, high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel. 2 axles in one truck powered. Traction tires. The engineer's cabs in both end cars have interior details. The train has power pickup in the end car at the front of the train; the power pickup changes with the direction of the train. It also has special close couplers with a guide mechanism. The train has factory-installed interior lighting. The interior details vary with the type of car. The triple headlights, dual red marker lights, and the interior lighting will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at car ends 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. Light yellow and red LEDs are used for the headlights and marker lights. Warm white LEDs are used for the interior lighting. The construction of the running gear and the bodies is detailed. There is a representation of the "Scharfenberg" coupler with a cover on the end cars. A rigid drawbar coupling is included for multiple unit operation. The end cars come from the factory with closed crossover doors. A plug-in part included with the train makes it possible to represent swinging doors with a diaphragm pushed to the side on one end car. Total train length 114.8 cm / 45-3/16".

T22202 Gas- turbine Powered Rail Car





Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 602 InterCity train. Rebuilt version of the VT 11.5 TEE powered rail car train with gas-turbine propulsion.

Model: T22202 - era IV, frame and body of powered end cars and intermediate cars made of die-cast metal. Digital decoder for DCC and Trix systems, can also be used in conventional operation. Both powered end cars with 5-pole high-efficiency motor and with sound effects generator. 4 powered axles. Headlights with LED, digitally controlled. Installed interior lighting, digitally controlled. Continuous electric contact and special close couplings with guide mechanism between the cars. Direction-of-travel dependent power supply Separately applied grab irons. Total train length 880 mm / 34-21/32”.

The success of TEE and InterCity traffic pushed the elegant diesel powered rail car trains to the limits of their capacity. In order for 10-car units to reach speeds of 160 km/h or 100 mph they needed more power. More powerful diesel motors would have been too large and two heavy, consequently the German Federal Railroad decided on turbine propulsion. The first class 601 powered end car was rebuilt in 1970/1971. The end car was given a 2400 hp turbine to replace the 1200 hp diesel motor. Although it was twice as powerful, the turbine was more compact, with a significantly increased air throughput. Huge intake air, ventilation, and exhaust air channels filled the round nose of the powered end car. On the outside the new propulsion could be identified by the wide exhaust stack between the windows of the vehicle cab and by the additional air hoods. They ensure that the turbines take in sufficient air in both directions of travel, also with a trailing powered end car.
